Fun Portraits for Fun Families

Applemoon Photography mainly does wedding photography, but the fun doesn't stop there! Weddings are wonderful, but we also love the families that become complete with the absolute joy that is children. We thoroughly enjoy photographing fun families who are into having fun with their fun kids. We ourselves have our own fun family and know how important it is for families to cherish moments that pass by all too quickly. Our mini photo sessions are a fantastic way to capture your kids and family with professional, fun images that your family will remember for a lifetime.

We Love Family Photography

Families come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. We love them all! We especially love little kids - it's that exhilarating and rambunctious energy that keeps us on our toes. We also love photographing newborns and babies, and have all kinds of tricks and props to make sure babies are completely comfortable, as well as moms and dads! We share tips with moms ahead of time so each session goes along as smoothly as can be.

Mini Session Availability for Family Portraits

As our main focus is on wedding photography in San Luis Obispo, we set aside these special mini sessions in our studio location periodically. Space is limited and our mini seasons do fill up, so be sure to check our website or call us to plan for the next available family portrait!

High School Senior Shoots

We can't get enough of shooting high school seniors - you guys always help sharpen our edge. Applemoon Photography likes to establish a comfortable atmosphere, so that once you are at ease, we can form a rapport with you. Seniors are great for this because they are up for anything, and always have great ideas to contribute to a shoot.

Whether in our studio or on location, we'd love to capture the excitement that you bring as you celebrate a truly humongous milestone in your life. Seniors generally prefer a mix of locations: either urban or natural. It's what you bring to the table that our cameras feed off of, so bring your favorite outfits - the clothes and items (even gadgets!) that show the world who you are. Outdoor settings are fantastic for being yourself and showing off your skills. Dancing in the sun, leaning against a tree - show us what the world should know about you!
