We had all kinds of fun hanging out with members from San Francisco’s The Love Dimension as well as The Hypnotist Collectors for a fun photo shoot during their recent tour. We were definitely stoked on their eclectic range of bluesy/folk/psychedelic/surf sounds and their completely laid-back attitude. Their manager describes the bands as “a big family” and it was cool to see how open they were– during one of their sets, they passed several percussion instruments out to the audience and let everyone join in on the fun. Totally fun indeed!

Jillian & Mike enjoyed a gorgeous home wedding in the Bay Area recently. Their day was sunny, breezy, and marked with the warmth of their incredibly loving family (Jillian’s parents had us and nearly the entire guest crowd in tears during their reception dance with her!). They exchanged vows in front of the family’s wine vault built into a hill, and was officiated by their minister who knew these two well. We totally loved their wedding party, Jillian’s girls were lots of fun, and Mike’s boys were probably the most daring groomsmen we’ve ever had in front of our camera! And we loved the toasts given during dinner– we learned that Mike should go nowhere near a train track, and that Jillian’s dad could successfully moonlight as a speech writer. All in all, we enjoyed their wedding almost as much as Jillian & Mike did, and we look forward to keeping in touch!
