Henry Tefft, a district judge and delegate to the California Constitutional Convention, enjoyed a wonderful July rancho wedding with Maria Josefa Dana, daughter of Captain William Dana and Mary Petra Josefa Carrillo de Dana. The weather was comfortably warm at the Dana Adobe in Nipomo which was attended by many, including local politicos, blacksmiths, spinners, sailors and vaqueros. This was undoubtedly an event to remember, and a joy for AppleMoon Photography to capture. Oh, and did we mention the wedding date? It would be July, 1850

Meet Avi Dove, born in our home on 6.27.09 at noon. She is our firstborn and has already changed our lives forever. These images are of her at 10 days old, and as you’ll see, she’s getting plenty of beauty sleep these days (her mama and papa are sneaking in some winks here and there as well). Being the daughter of photographers, she has little choice in being the focus of giddy paparazzi that Maren and I have become. It’s been a fascinating journey so far, which you can check out by clicking HERE.
