Gaby and Aaron renewed their vows recently, and did it Catholic style. Theirs was a traditional Mexican wedding-complete with all the family, a full mass ceremony, and blazing Mariachis.  (We stood in for photographer Heather Young Curry, who was unavailable but graciously referred us).  Gaby was one of the most cool & collected brides we’ve had the pleasure of knowing in a while.  That said, her coolness did melt just a wee bit as soon as her father escorted her down that long, bridal aisle.  Although she and Aaron have had the pleasure of exchanging vows with each other previously, who could resist the ecstatic emotion?  After all, this is the stuff of fairy tales…coming true.

Hanging out at Poly Canyon

_mg_9670blog

Maren & I spent our Valentine’s Day hanging out with just the two of us and of course our two little mutty sweethearts– Keeta & e.z. If you haven’t experienced the casual hike and modernist architecture of Poly Canyon (well, it’s a bit dated at this point, but still chock full of innovation and creative spirit), it might be worth your while. (And climbing the geodesic dome-frame is plenty of monkey-fun too!)
