Good news is… good. It was such good news to hear that Kenny and Christelle, whose Tiber Canyon wedding we captured some time ago, were having a baby! It was good news to be asked to provide a maternity session with the beautiful Christelle. And it was good news to be asked to capture a newborn session with not only the beautiful Christelle, but her and Kenny’s beautiful baby boy! Life is good!

.

And without further ado, here’s the debut of Mr. Nolan!

We guessed it on the first try. Northern England, his accent. And he was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time in downtown Santa Barbara where he met his soon-to-be knockout of a bride, Jen. Reason enough to stay in the States? Um, we think so!

Jen and Mark- we had a really great time with you two. Thanks so much for being so fun and comfortable! We can barely wait for your Dana Powers wedding!

They didn’t have to say a word. When they were together, you could feel the pull between Kelsey and Mike. It was as if they had been together for ages– well beyond their years– and each seemed to intuit the other’s mood and next action. It was interesting. And relaxing– despite the fact that there was a wedding going on! Even the rain was a bit chillaxed this day- some sprinkling here and there, and then a clear, crisp night sky for the reception. And kudos to Cypress Ridge in Arroyo Grande, CA, who hosted the ceremony, reception, and catering.

Stacey and Mike are two fun reasons why we like being photographers. During our engagement session in Sycamore Springs and Avila Beach, these guys were down for anything and were super lax about it all. I don’t think they realized we were taking pictures. They must have mistaken us for the background or something. Although, they are supremely nice to the background :) and to each other. We’re so looking forward to the wedding!

And a note to you lovers out there- hope your Valentine’s was fun and delicious!
