Amy and Jeff are a really fun and laid back couple. We had a sweet time with our wedding engagement session at the See Canyon Fruit Ranch in San Luis Obispo (where we’re grateful to be among their recommended photographers). Basically, Jeff had a hard time keeping his eyes and hands off Amy (who can blame him?) and Amy kept a light heart the whole time. After hanging out at See Canyon for a while, we took a little hike nearby. Gotta love SLO’s many hike options- they’re not just great for exercise!

What’s more enjoyable than photographing a wedding at the San Miguel Mission? It’s photographing a San Miguel Mission wedding with Rebecca and Carlos as bride and groom. We were fortunate to spend a late afternoon with these two, prior to their wedding day, chatting over drinks and appetizers at the Cliffs Resort, and hearing about how they met (and good try, Carlos, attempting to pay for everything Since they came out from South Carolina, and Carlos even further from Brazil, we were glad the Central California weather was on its typical best behavior for their wedding. Their ceremony selection was excellent– the Mission San Miguel is an historical landmark enriched with original fresco paintings and religious iconography galore.

After the ceremony, the wedding moved on to Vina Robles in Paso Robles for the reception. Vina Robles is an elegant winery and a wonderful place to hold events. We had a great time following Rebecca and Carlos’ Dixieland jazz musicians around the place as they led the marching guests in a New Orleans line parade around and around and out the door to their waiting trolley, provided by Central Coast Trolley.

It’s people like these two who make us look forward to photographing weddings. Angee and David are good people and we totally enjoyed our time with them. Angee was really relaxed throughout the day, and David couldn’t wait to say the two magic words, which he finally did under a gorgeous, 200 year old oak tree at Cass Vineyards and Winery in Paso Robles, CA. Cass Vineyards and Winery is a beautiful place to be married, and the event staff were very friendly, sharp, and professional. Angee and David not only have good taste in choosing spouses, but in wedding venues as well. We wish these guys a lifetime of more good times, and of love and happiness.
